1.18.0 Safe to install
If you are experiencing issues with a broken, damaged, or defective display that is registering accidental, random, arbitrary, self-generated, or phantom touches, this program can assist you in blocking touch input in those areas of the screen where these unwanted touches occur.
When touch blocking is enabled, all types of touches and gestures in the specified areas will be intercepted and prevented from registering.
There are two modes for adding touch-blocking areas: automatic and manual.
In automatic mode, the program analyzes the screen and intercepts all touches for a set time interval to identify the areas where touch blocking should be applied. Please refrain from touching the screen during this analysis.
Once the analysis is complete, the program analyzes and combines the intercepted touches to create zones with blocked touch input.
In manual mode, you have the ability to add or remove lock areas yourself. Simply select "Add Manual Region" and place the desired size area on the screen. The touch detector can also be used to identify areas where spontaneous touches occur.
At the top of the screen, you will find two switches for enabling touch blocking in both automatic and manual mode. Make sure to enable both switches if you have added zones using both methods.
The area manager allows you to select active or inactive areas, change their color, size, and position, as well as delete unnecessary zones.
You also have the option to round the corners of the screen. In the settings, you can choose the color and radius for the rounded corners. The rounded corners will be displayed on top of all other elements on the screen.
The bubble mode feature allows you to lock the entire screen by double-tapping on the indicator. The indicator can be placed anywhere on the screen.
For subscribers, advanced functionality is available:
- Edit areas in the manager
- Full overlap area mode (for Android versions lower than 8.0)
- Auto start service at power on
- Change the transparency of all areas
- Increase the maximum count of areas by 50%
- Touch detector for detecting damaged zones
- Bubble screen block mode
- Preload mode for loading blocked areas from a local file
- Rounded corners of the screen
Note: Full overlap is not supported for Android 8.0 and higher versions.
